David Nadeau of Monroe was arrested along northbound I-75 following a chase that went through downtown Detroit all the way to Ferndale.

That’s where Michigan State Police were able to block and disable the vehicle Nadeau was driving, taking him into custody.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Nadeau was considered armed and dangerous by authorities, and was wanted for robbing the Monroe Bank & Trust at 1204 N. Monroe Street on March 21.

The U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force said in an earlier news release Nadeau had made statements that he has nothing to lose because he was looking at life in prison if caught.

Investigators believe he’s also tied to several other crimes in northeast Ohio and other areas.  He was wanted on multiple felony warrants at the time of his arrest.
