Governor Snyder Makes Reelection Bid Official

photo1LANSING, Mich. (April 17, 2014) — It has always been assumed that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder would seek reelection and today he did.

This morning, Gov. Snyder, along with several supporters, delivered petition signatures to the Michigan Department of State Bureau of Elections.

“I’m proud to have support from every county in the state as I file for re-election,” Snyder said. “It has been an honor to lead Michigan’s comeback and I look forward to ensuring our state’s economic prosperity for the next four years.”

Snyder is in his first term.

Election Day is November 4, 2014.
