Man Shot in Muskegon Heights, Two Teen Suspects Sought

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (April 23, 2014) — Two teenagers are wanted in connection with a shooting that happened Tuesday in Muskegon Heights.

According to police, a 38-year-old man was shot in the shoulder in the 2000 block of Manz Street near E. Keating Avenue at about 11:25 a.m.

He was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Kevin Darnell McBride, 19, and Diaunte Dequan Johnson, 18, are wanted in connection with the shooting.

McBride is wanted on a four-count felony warrant that includes assault with intent to murder and robbery.  Johnson is also wanted on a four-count felony warrant that includes armed robbery, according to police.

Police say both men are considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information on their whereabouts should contact 911.
