GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (April 28, 2014) — The popular “Movies in the Park” series will return to downtown Grand Rapids, and Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., along with Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, will let fans figure out the line up with a short film (available above).

The organizations plan to release the video on Apr. 28, and it features local celebrities, officials, and hometown heroes depicting memorable scenes from movies.

A survey is available online, and people can guess which films are referenced. Those who can correctly name all the films will be entered into a contest to win a personal projector system. The contest will close on May 8.

This year, there will be six movie nights: June 6 and 20, July 11 and 25, and August 8 and 22. The last night of the series will be a double feature, with the first film chosen through voters’ choice polling.
