Reports: Clare Co. Sheriff’s House Catches Fire

HARRISON, Mich. (April 28, 2014) — The house of Clare County Sheriff John Wilson caught fire Monday afternoon in Harrison, according to 9&10 News.

The Undersheriff tells 9&10 that the fire appears to be electrical.

Holly Mahaffey with the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun reports that the fire also damaged several surrounding homes.

9&10’s Eric Lloyd tells FOX 17 that the sheriff’s 11-year-old son made it out of the house safely and also rescued the family dog.

No other details have been released at this time.
