MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. – (April 28, 2014) – Storm damage was reported Monday morning across parts of West Michigan as a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m.

FOX 17 News viewers have been sending the newsroom pictures of toppled trees and downed power lines in parts of Muskegon County.

In the 2400 block of Maffett Street in Muskegon Heights, strong winds sent a tree into a home.  Photos show a tree that went through a window and nearly landed on a mattress.  The homeowner said nobody was hurt.

More than 1,000 Consumers Energy customers were without power in the North Muskegon area Monday morning.
