Coldwater Teen Hospitalized After Being Hit by Vehicle

COLDWATER, Mich (May 7, 2014) – A 13-year-old from Coldwater was taken to the hospital last night after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bike.

The collision happened near the intersection of North Polk Street and Hatch Avenue around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers haven’t released details on what led up to the accident, which remains under investigation tonight.

The 13-year-old was taken to the hospital by an ambulance and is expected to recover.

No injuries reported for the 29-year-old Coldwater woman who was driving the vehicle involved.

The Coldwater Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance service assisted at the scene.
