Teen Shot on Grand Rapids’ Northeast Side

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (May 7, 2014) – Several officers with the Grand Rapids Police Department have responded to a shooting incident on the city’s northeast side that happened just before 9:30 p.m.

Authorities tell us a teenager was shot in the back side while riding a bicycle.  It happened in the area of Clancy Avenue and Fairbanks Street.  The teen victim is expected to survive.

Right now authorities are working to identify and locate who’s responsible.  Police believe there are at least two suspects.  Nobody is in custody right now.
