Two Meth Suspects Still Being Sought By Police

05-12-14-Meth-bust-material-Lawrence-Van-Buren-CountyLAWRENCE, Mich. (May 12, 2014) — Two people, one male and one female, are being sought in connection with various drug charges, including the operation and maintenance of a meth lab.

Neither individual has been arrested, but a meth lab was found on site.

The man, 28, was subject to an arrest warrent, and when police on Friday went to find him at a home in the 55000 block of Butcher road, they found “items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine,” said the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department. After obtaining a search warrant, detectives found an active meth lab in a car on the property, including “one pot meth lab reaction vessel, multiple one pot meth lab reaction vessels, and multiple HCL gas generators,” said the department.

Both the man and a 34-year-old Lawrence woman he was said to be with are still being sought. Police provided no names.
