RICHMOND, Va. (May 14, 2014) — A girl’s homeschool prom experience was cut short due to her short dress, reports Tribune station WTVR.
Clare (whose last name was not published), 17, says several dads at the dance thought her dress caused “impure thoughts.” In a blog post, the teen claims her dress conformed with the prom dress code. But while she and her friends danced, they got “a little grossed out by all the dads on the balcony above the dance floor, ogling and talking amongst themselves.”
“The whole situation made me feel violated, walked over and ostracized,” she writes.
