if he was or was NOT wearing a helmet, has no relevance as to the cause of the accident…. if you take a helmet and drop it on the pavement say from waste level, see how it bounces? Imagine one's head in it…. their neck would snap….. if I had the options of being a complete quadriplegia, depending on someone for my every need, or dead due to head trama. I would rather be dead.

The answer to when the roads will be fixed….. NEVER! Your tax dollars have already been misappropriated!

I feel bad for this person but, I would suggest that all the bikers put them away until the state fixes the bullshit roads! You couldn't pay me enough to get Michigan roads with a bike. Shit, last week I blew a 33 inch ORV tire on a fucking pothole! Just imagine if I hit that hole on a motorcycle………

Being a Emergency medical tech. Ive seen helmets save people who would otherwise be dead. Helmets can do the job. Whether you wear one or dont your choice. I personally would always wear one. Saved me from more serious injury a couple times. on dirt bikes.
