photo(33)KALAMAZOO, Mich. — After a long, harsh winter many of us are finding that it has really taken a toll on everything from lawn mower and boat batteries to light bulbs working overtime due to the dark days. Helping ease that frustration are seven West and Southwest Michigan locations known as Batteries Plus Bulbs.

These specialty stores have everything from ATV, boat, camera, cell phone, golf cart, laptop, motorcycle, scooter, security system, wheelchair and flashlight batteries to CFL, LED, Halogen, Fluorescent and Incandescent light bulbs. Along with these items, you can get a free consultation, recycling, installation and free battery testing.

Manager Angie Lewis at the Portage location, said that many times people will come in thinking they need a new battery for something like a car, and thanks to their free testing, they will find the battery is actually not the problem.
