KENTWOOD, Mich. (May 19, 2014) — Multiple fire departments were called to Roskam Baking following an overnight fire.
Officials tell FOX 17 that the fire started around 2:40 a.m. in an oven on May 19, on Broadmoor Avenue and 52nd Street. The first crews reported that heavy flames were coming from all the doors of the conveyor-type oven.
One employee was treated for minor smoke inhalation, but was not taken to a hospital.
It’s estimated that there is about $350,000 in damage.
