Deputies Investigating Several Break-ins, Larcenies in Mecosta County

generic-police-lights5 picMECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (May 23, 2014)– Deputies in Mecosta County are investigating several vehicle larceny reports, and a breaking and entering complaint.

Deputies responded to a report of breaking and entering at Phil Hatchew’s Auto Salvage on 197th Avenue around 9:00 a.m. on May 22nd.  Investigators say cash and other items were taken from the business.

Deputies are also investigating several reported vehicle break-ins that happened in the Village of Mecosta. They happened sometime during the early morning hours of May 23rd.  An unknown number of suspects broke into several cars, taking various items. Some of those items were recovered during the initial investigation.

Lundie’s Family Hair Care was also broken into overnight Friday.
