EAST LANSING, Mich. (May 29, 2014) — FOX 17 will be your home for an early-season showdown between the Rose Bowl champions and one of the nation’s most-electrifying offenses.

Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans will kick-off against the Oregon Ducks in Eugene, Oregon on September 6 at 6:30 p.m. Michigan time on FOX, the Pac-12 Conference announced in a release on Thursday.

The Spartans are coming off a 13-1 season that ended with Rose Bowl and Big Ten championships – and a #3 ranking in both the AP and USA Today’s final polls.

The Ducks boast Heisman hopeful quarterback Marcus Mariota and an offense that averaged 45.5 points and 565 yards a game in 2013 – ranking third and second in the nation, respectively.
