Went to American Char last night! Chef Len is still working on some service quirks but the food was FANTASTIC! Tasted all the sauces (all great) prior to have food served – to see which one I would use on the pulled pork. However, the pulled pork was so flavorful (due to the dry rub) and was juicy to- I just used the BBQ sauce for the fries! Which, LOL I didn't order but received anyway- a quirk :) We did received everything we order in addition to some extras (mozz sticks / spring roll wrapper). The sides we had included grilled Brussels Sprouts w/ blue cheese sauce, spicy coleslaw(extremely fresh), french fries (hand cut- salted perfectly- great for all the tasty flavors of bbq sauces), baked beans (smoky, yum) and noodles w/ cheesy sauce
(mac and cheese :)). An addition, we had order fried mushrooms for an appetizer but it came w/ our meal (another service quirk) huge order, fresh breaded and delicious. Husband had a half rack of ribs- fall off the bone greatness! Chef Len was very friendly and hands on trying to help out his short staff w/ the slew of patrons waiting to get some of his GREAT food! We live in Wyoming but will be driving to West Olive very soon again to have some more!
