cheeseGRAND RAPIDS. Mich. (June 11, 2014) — Selling groceries and fresh produce run in the Kingma family, and that’s something the Grand Rapids area has known for nearly 100 years. It may seem like an unlikely place to find a Father’s Day gift, but if dad likes to eat (or drink!) the good stuff, Kingma’s Market and Butcher Shop is a great place to stop and shop. Located at 2225 Plainfield NE in Grand Rapids, Kingma’s carries over 750 wines – 350 from Michigan – and nearly 400 beers. Want cheese? They have more than 150 varieties on hand, and the on-site butcher shop has been cutting, grinding and slicing all types of fresh meats. Kingma’s also stocks fresh produce, bakery items, and seasonal goods like flowers, Christmas trees and pumpkins.
