SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (June 12, 2014) — The popular chain restaurant P.F. Chang’s China Bistro is investigating a possible data breach that may have impacted customers across the nation.

According to USA Today, the first report came from cyber security blogger Brian Krebs, who uncovered the data breach at Target stores.

Customer data from thousands of credit and debit cards went up for sale on an underground store that also sold information from the Target data breach. Those cards that went up for sale were used at P.F. Chang’s restaurants from March to May 19 of this year.

A spokesperson for the restaurant said on June 11 that the chain takes these matters seriously and is investigating, and working with authorities to learn more. She also said the restaurant would provide an update when more information is available.
