This is to funny, still think its a good idea to make the grand river into a playground for these dumbasses? Who is footing the bill to pull these idiots out of the drink? If this is going to be the norm regarding to this crap I think we need to make a new law, stating that if your ass requires to be rescued you will be responsible for all costs involved in the rescue! Not sure how much this rescue was but I am guessing around $2,000+

This rescue, like all river rescues, is funded by the tax payers. Let’s just hope that the city doesn’t keep cutting staffing and there will be enough firefighters on duty to make a good rescue!

They should make the grand in downtown more accessible, that means taking those three steps out after the 6th street bridge, I checked few websites and found no info stating that after the dam it wasn't safe. I should have played it smart and walked the shore farther down to check conditions, I didn't and got into a bad situation. One that could have cost me my life. I fully expect a bill in the mail, if not well I pay taxes too so get over it, they may need to bail you out some day.

Go fuck yourself joe! So you're excuse is you pay taxes! Guess what asshole "WE ALL PAY TAXES" and I would rather have MY TAX MONEY go to something useful like fixing the roads not fishing dipshits out of the Grand River, and as far as making the river more accessible, if you are going to pay out of your pocket the feel free!!
