Fire_generic1KALAMAZOO, Mich. (June 25, 2014) — Police in Kalamazoo responded to an early morning house fire and believe that a meth lab may be to blame for igniting the blaze.

Officers responded to the two-story home, on Staples Avenue, around 1:19 a.m. on June 25 and found that the second floor was engulfed in flames. No one was home at the time of the fire, but officers were still at the scene several hours later putting out hot spots. They also found remnants of a meth lab at the scene, and the Fire Marshal is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
