Spartan Stadium Bomb Threat Suspects Arraigned

EAST LANSING, Mich. (July 3, 2014) — Two people were arraigned Thursday on felony charges connected to a July 2 bomb threat at Spartan Stadium.

Cynthia Marie Spade, 30, and 31-year-old Anthony Robert Shearer are both facing charges of false report of a bomb threat.

Shearer was also arraigned on a charge of driving with a suspended license and is being charged as a fourth-time habitual offender.

According to a release, both suspects are from Lansing and have no affiliation with Michigan State University.

Their pre-trial is scheduled 8:30 a.m. July 8 and a preliminary examination for 9 a.m. July 11.
