GRPD’s New Chief Starts Monday

David RahinskyGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (July 7, 2014)– Grand Rapids Police Department’s newest police Chief begins his first day on the job Monday (7/7). David Rahinski began his career as a patrol officer in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and became Chief of Police in Franklin, Tennessee in 2011 before taking on the new position at GRPD. City Manager Greg Sundstrum says Rahinski is “incredibly prepared” for the job.
