Police Searching For Hit & Run Driver

DORR TOWNSHIP Mich. (July 7, 2014)- Michigan State Police need your help finding a hit & run driver.

Investigators say around 12:15am on July 7th, a man was walking along the shoulder of 142nd Avenue near US-131 when he was hit by a car that kept on driving.  The victim, a 23-year-old from Wayland was found by another driver who stopped to help him. The victim was taken to Metro Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

State Police are continuing to look for the driver who hit the victim and say the vehicle may have damage to the passenger side. They also say the driver was last seen heading towards the Village of Dorr.
