Deputies Release Photos, Sketch of Suspected Bank Robber

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Kalamazoo County Deputies are searching for the man they believe robbed the Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union, 5067 Gull Rd.

The robbery happened at about 11:48 a.m. Monday.  According to a release, the suspect forced the employees into the vault and then into a broom closet.

He is described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 lbs.  He was wearing a light brown hat, wire-rimmed glasses, an olive green and cream colored shirt, khaki pants and dark shoes.

Deputies say he was also wearing a black wig in a bun style and had a black laptop bag.

The man allegedly took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.  A K-9 tracking dog was unable to locate him.
