GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police are hoping an autopsy will help answer their questions, after kayakers found a body in the Grand River on Sunday.
The discovery was made around 5:20pm in a wooded area in Georgetown Township, a short distance from the Riverview Airport.
Police say a pair of kayakers called to report they had found what they thought to be human remains. A dive team responded, and located the body of a male victim. There is no identification, no age, and no cause of death at this time.
