GR Public Schools Board approves layoffs of 90+ employees

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Public Schools Board Monday unanimously approved laying off more than 90 employees.

According to GRPS spokesperson John Helmholdt, those layoffs include roughly 40 teachers.

Helmholdt said he’s confident that a “large number” of the positions will be called back.

No other details about the layoffs were immediately available.

    why call them back if the total enrollment is down——- hello — stop running the schools like the worthless bum in d.c. runs the country its time the damm teachers wake up to the new world
