COLDWATER, Mich. – The hostage situation at the Lion’s Den Adult Superstore has ended.
It started at the store along I-69 in Coldwater this morning around 10am, according to the Branch County Sheriffs Office.
The adult store is at 570 Jonesville Road. No one was hurt in the situation.
According to the Daily Reporter, there is a gunman who has a female hostage. Michigan State Police say the incident started in Indiana where the suspect led police on a high-speed chase up I-69 until reaching the Jonesville Rd. exit.
One Indiana news source says the chase began in Angola after a man claiming to have a gun demanded prescription drugs from a CVS pharmacy.
