GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two men are in the Ottawa County Jail on retail fraud charges after police say they found roughly $350 in stolen liquor in their vehicle.

Deputies believe the suspects stole alcohol from at least two Meijer stores.  One robbery happened July 19 at the Grand Haven Township location, 15000 US-31.

The suspects were arrested after returning to the store Thursday for a second theft.  They fled after employees confronted them and were later arrested.

Police say they found stolen liquor from a Muskegon County Meijer in their vehicle.

Both suspects are 20-year-old men, one from Muskegon and the other from Warren.  They will be identified pending formal arraignment.

Anyone with more information on these incidents should call Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department at 616-738-4000.
