MUSKEGON, Mich. — A Muskegon man is facing sexual assault charges after allegedly raping two 14-year-old girls in his car.

According to Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat, Edward Charles Eubanks, 23, was arraigned Thursday on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 16.

The first-degree incident allegedly happened July 21 and the other on June 1.

Maat said that Eubanks knew both of the victims, and that he sexually assaulted them after offering them a ride in his car.     He was charged as a fourth-time habitual offender and is being held on $350,000 bond.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 5.

I hate these stories everytime they show up in the news or on the Internet. The laws and punishment needs to be looked at and changed. We are living by the same laws of many many years ago.You get more time for robbing a bank of Money then you do ROBBING AN INNOCENT OF THEIR LIFE. Any type of rape or molestation ROBB’S ANY VICTIM OF A LIFE. No it does not kill them but it does destroy many of the victims of the life they had known. It scares them for life money can be replaced as they have insurance for that but when a child or anyone is Raped there is nothing to protect them even the courts they are put through hell. It has to CHANGE .

There is something wrong with the courts if someone has been convicted 3 times for felons before he reaches 23 years old. He should have still been in prison.
