ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Aero Med was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash Sunday on Warner Street and 92nd Avenue.

The crash was reported to Ottawa County Central Dispatch at about 5:20 p.m.

Officials say a 25-year-old Samantha Mackeller, of Ravenna,  was pinned in her vehicle and had to be extricated.  She remains in critical condition as of Sunday night.

Brit Leigh Strunk, a 19-year-old from Allendale, was also injured, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators said that Mackeller was travelling west on Bass Drive when she went on the shoulder, lost control and went across the center line near 92nd.

The crash remains under investigation.
