CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — A 55-year-old Albion man is facing drug and weapons charges following a Saturday morning raid at a home in the 1300 block of N. Eaton Street.
Melvin Craig Dickey is charged with felon in possession of a firearm, cocaine possession and felony firearms. He was charged as a fourth-time habitual offender.
Calhoun County investigators executed a search warrant on the N. Eaton home at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Dickey was released from prison July 14 after serving 14 years of a 20-year jail sentence. Online jail records show he has several past convictions that include criminal sexual conduct and felony assault.
