PLAINFIELD, Ill. -- Brandon Meyers returned home from his second tour in Iraq in 2012.  However, the Marine's mother Wendy said because of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, he never really left.

"You could see in his eyes a lot of hurt," Wendy said.

PTSD  reportedly impacts at least 400,000 American veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now, Wendy is fighting so that other veterans do not share her son's fate with her organization Bubba's Dogs for Warriors, which matches veterans with service dogs.
