BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich (WJBK FOX 2)- The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the possible abduction of an 18-year-old Bedford Township woman, Hayley Turner.
Monroe County Sheriff Dale Malone said in a press conference Friday morning Hayley went missing as she was out renting a movie.
He says Hayley was on her way home from the Family Video store near Dean Road and Lewis Avenue Thursday night when she called her friend around 10:08 p.m. While she was on the phone, she told her friend she saw a man lying in the ditch and that she was going to check on him.
Malone says Hayley told her friend seconds later that the man had a gun and the phone call disconnected.
Hayley is described as a white female with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet tall, weighs approximately 130 pounds. See was last seen wearing black yoga pants and an orange t-shirt.
