ECORSE, Mich. (WJBK FOX 2)-Investigators are still putting together pieces to the circumstances of Hayley Turner’s disappearance Friday night.

There is no description yet of a vehicle or suspect released by police. The fact she was found alive, allowed for a happy ending.

“This is huge, I have daughters myself, to see the look on her face was gratifying,” said Ecorse police officer Darren Johnson.

Johnson responded to the 911 call that led Ecorse cops to Hayley Turner, 18 who had gone missing Thursday night..

The caller told dispatchers she spotted Hayley Turner near 19th and Salliotte in Ecorse at about 3:30 Friday – and that Turner had been abducted and escaped by jumping out of a moving car.

“A dispatch call in regards to someone observing someone walking down the street without a shirt on,” Johnson said. “Upon arrival we came into contact with the person who helped her. From that point we went on with our standard operating procedure.”

Turner went missing Thursday night.
