WEST MICHIGAN — (Aug. 10, 2014) It’s a light show among the cosmos that brings nearly a hundred meteors an hour and it will be visible to many in West Michigan over the next few days. The Perseid meteor shower peaks from the 10th to the 13th during the night-time hours.
The best chance at seeing the phenomena is to look at the northeast sky on a clear night but it looks like we won’t see significant clearing till Tuesday night. The super moon may dim some of the meteors due to its size and intensity but many meteors will still be visible.
