BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Three people were hospitalized Sunday evening following a crash in Ionia County.

Investigators say around 6:30 p.m., Alison Murphy, 27, went through a stop sign at the intersection of Portland Road and Jordan Lake Avenue  and collided with another vehicle containing three people.

That other vehicle, which has been identified as a Chevrolet Equinox, went off the road and flipped over. All three people inside had to be extricated.

Investigators say Charlene Paul, 38, who was a passenger in the Equinox, and its driver, James Paul II, were both taken to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized.

At this point, officials haven't said anything about citations following that crash.
