3 men ask driver for ride, driver & passenger robbed at gunpoint

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are trying to find three suspects who robbed a driver and passenger late Monday night in Grand Rapids.

Police say the three men asked for a ride at Fremont and 11th at around 11:00 p.m.  The person behind the wheel agreed.

When the men got in the car, two of them pulled out handguns and proceeded to rob the driver and a passenger.  Officers attempted to track the suspects, but nobody turned up.  However, they were able to recover some of the stolen property.

Nobody was injured in this incident.
