OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. -- Tuesday afternoon, residents sounded off on a controversial drain plan at the Ottawa County Commission board meeting.

About 700 property owners are slated to pay for the new drain. Their share of the bill is $2.1 million. They said it's not fair, since 1800 property owners are within the drainage district.

The county commission made it clear that its not over the drain commission. However, the commission approves funding for the projects.
