LANSING, Mich. – The website that is used by thousands to file for unemployment benefits in Michigan was down Wednesday, according to a representative from the state’s Unemployment Insurance Agency.

The employee said MARVIN (Michigan’s Automated Response Voice Interactive Network) will likely be down the rest of the day which means people will not be able to file for benefits Wednesday.  The representative also said payments will not likely be made Wednesday.  They will be delayed.

No further information was available at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
