Grand Rapids NBA D-League Team Unveils Name and Logo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Drive needs players – and you could be one of them.

The Pistons’ NBDL affiliate has announced two open tryouts in October as the team looks to fill its roster for its inaugural season.

The first will be held in Detroit on Saturday, October 4 from noon-5:00 p.m. at the University of Oakland’s Athletics Center O’Rena.

The second is scheduled for the following Saturday, October 11 at Calvin College’s Van Noord Arena in Grand Rapids from noon-5:00 p.m.

Tryouts are limited to 150 participants. All players in attendance will be eligible to be invited to the Drive’s training camp in November.
