Driver involved in roll over crash leaves passenger, flees the scene

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich.– Deputies are searching for a suspect that fled the scene of a crash Saturday.

According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, a one-car roll over crash happened yesterday just before 4 PM near Winans Street and 136th Avenue. Witnesses say that the driver lost control of the vehicle, rolling it over until it landed right side up. The driver then got out of the car, and was picked up by a red pick-up truck, fleeing the scene.

The passenger, 21-year-old Perla Claudio, was left in the damaged car until help arrived. She was taken to the hospital.

The driver was last seen with facial lacerations. Deputies are asking if you know anything about this to call them at 1-877-88-SILENT.
