Parolee taken back into custody in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich.- A parolee has been taken back into custody in Battle Creek, Sunday afternoon.

According to the Battle Creek Police Department, a parolee was taken back into custody in the 200 block of N. Wood Street. Officers state that the parolee was in possession of narcotics, two firearms, one of which was stolen.

The parolee was taken back to the Michigan Dept. of Corrections and new felony charges are pending.
