AG complaint filed re: Dr. Bruce Langlois

LOWELL, Mich. –Lowell veterinarian Dr. Bruce Langlois is fighting to keep his license.

Langlois faces a number of allegations outlined in an 18-page complaint by the Michigan attorney general’s office. (Click the document image to the right.)

The complaint accuses Dr. Langlois of among other things maintaining “poor standards of care,” including the use of medications no longer used by veterinarians, inadequate documentation, and providing care to animals that left them with infections.

The license hearing took place late last week.

Langlois and his attorney refute the accusations and say the claims of poor standards of care are “based on nothing.”

A decision is expected within the next two months.
