GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - GOP Rep. Justin Amash and Democratic challenger Bob Goodrich shared a stage on the campus of Grand Valley State University, engaging in a debate in their Third Congressional District race.

The pair discussed a variety of issues from immigration, to ISIS, to the economy.

Each candidate was also asked to assess the threat of Ebola in the United States.

Amash stressed he in concern Ebola is serious and could spread.

"We need to do a better job of securing our country from flights that are coming from those parts of the world," Amash said. "There should be at least some indication whether the passengers coming in have been infected or exposed."
