GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — High powered offenses collide in the Blitz game of the week as Forest Hills Northern (6-0) hosts Cedar Springs (5-1) on homecoming for the Huskies.

The Red Hawks come in averaging 40 points per game, including 60 in last weeks win over Wyoming. FHN is averaging 41 points per game and is coming off a 44-36 win at Greenville last Friday. Cedar’s only loss came in week four to Grand Rapids Catholic Central in a game played at Forest Hills Northern.

Rivals collide in the Blitz battle as Portage Central (4-1) meets Portage Northern (4-2) at McCamley field. The schools share the field, Northern will be the home team tonight. This game is huge for bragging rights and playoff hopes, the Mustangs still have slim SMAC West title hopes, but need Lakeshore to lose a division game, and that seems unlikely.

Speaking of rivals, West Catholic (6-0) plays Comstock Park (3-3) tonight at Fifth Third Ballpark, the Panthers topped the Falcons last season snapping a 5-game losing streak in the series. Comstock Park started slow, but has played better the last couple weeks. West continues to play without its top running back Lasavian Majewski who was injured in the week five win over Allendale.

Other games you can check out highlights of tonight on the Blitz from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. include:
Saugatuck (4-2) at Fennville (4-2)
