GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Drink wine and help shelter cats find a forever home, what could be better?

Crash's Landing & Big Sid's Sanctuary - two no-kill rescues in Grand Rapids - are putting the finishing touches on their second annual Wine & Art Masquerade Gala to be held November 1st at Thousand Oaks Golf Club. In addition to fine food and drink, there are great auction items including front row seats for a Detroit Pistons game.

Crash's founder Dr. Jen Petrovich and fundraising director Angie Taylor stopped by FOX 17 to preview the event and to talk about the monthly Open House  where the public is able to meet the more than 200 rescue cats who are looking to be adopted.
