GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- He's a known 'cocaine mule' running drugs in the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas.

At 63-years-old, he's stacked one of the longest criminal wrap sheets U.S. Marshals have ever seen.

Larry Henton has been on the run since 2007, but he's not a hermit. He’s been spotted on the streets and partying in the Grand Rapids area.

Authorities say he's pushing dangerous drugs and needs to be stopped, making him one of West Michigan's Most Wanted.

“When you put cocaine on the street it correlates to violence, it correlates to people being addicted to drugs,” Deputy Brandon Lally of the U.S. Marshals said.

Henton is wanted on a bond violation warrant from 2007. His underlying offense is conspiracy with intent to distribute cocaine and it’s a significant amount of cocaine, more than five kilos.

FOX 17 investigated Henton’s history finding 23 arrests beginning when he was just 18.

They include charges of larceny, burglary, DUI, dealing and manufacturing dangerous drugs, felony assault with a dangerous weapon, forgery and counterfeiting along with domestic violence.

“He’s got family ties and we’ve had informants come forward and say where they’ve seen him and he’s been coming and going from the Lansing, Grand Rapids area,” Lally said.

He’s a man no one wants in their community, a top priority for the U.S. Marshals who've been on the hunt for Henton since he violated his $50,000 bond with more drug charges out of Allegan County.

Lally says Henton’s employment is nothing that would be on the books.

“It would be off the grid, it would be supported by either a family member or he’s doing something that you wouldn’t provide your social security number for like continuing to sell drugs or some other means,” he said.

Henton was featured as one of “Arkansas’ Most Wanted” in 2013 when the Marshals believed he may have been staying with family. Tips and new information led them back to West Michigan where he's now seen regularly.

Last year he was seen at the America’s Best Hotel near Alpine Avenue but there was no hotel surveillance, keeping the Marshals just one step behind the most wanted man.

“I think what is dangerous about this is when you’re talking about over five kilos of cocaine you’re talking about five kilograms getting out on the street, and that’s what correlates to dangerous,” Lally said.

A dangerous man already convicted for violent crimes and now on the run for seven years. Although you would think that would make a person desperate and paranoid, sources tell the U.S. Marshals that Henton can be found walking around and whistling, almost as though he’s above the law.

The U.S. Marshals are offering up to $2,500 for information that would apprehend him.

Henton is 63-years-old with brown eyes and black hair. He's 5’7” and 152 pounds. His most notable characteristic may be that he is missing the tip of his middle finger on his right hand.

Henton has been recently spotted in the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas.
