MUSKEGON, Mich.-- A man being charged with marijuana growing felonies had his bond doubled in court today after a judge learned about some disturbing accusations.

Police in Muskegon are investigating decade-old molestation allegations involving 60 year-old Randall Doctor that reportedly happened while he was working at a local church.

Randall Doctor is under investigation for alleged molestation that took place more during the '70s and '80s while he was working in a church in Muskegon. The county prosecutor says the victims are as many as 10 then-underage boys.

“We are going to do a thorough investigation and review all our options. Certainly part of that is if anyone has had contact with Mr. Doctor, whether it be recent or in the past and are concerned about something that has happened, I ask them to contact the state police and just let them know and provide their information so they can go out and talk to them,” said Muskegon County Prosecutor DJ Hilson.

Doctor faced charges in court on Friday after police found a marijuana growing operation while searching his home for the alleged molestation charges.

The judge increased his bond from $25,000 to $50,000 despite Doctor’s attorney arguing against the increase. The judge says it’s because he could be a public safety risk.
