Police investigating armed robbery at GVSU

ALLENDALE, Mich. — Grand Valley State University Police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported Thursday night.

A student reported being robbed while walking at Laker Village North just before 11:30 p.m.

According to a GVSU spokesperson, the student was not injured during the incident.  They told police the robber flashed a handgun, demanded money from them and then fled west.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call GVSU police at 616-331-3255 or Silent Observer at 877-887-4536.
