GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Humane Society of West Michigan welcomed 17 news puppies Friday afternoon. Pet Smart Charities had the puppies sent to West Michigan from Kentucky.
Animal shelters in other states don’t have the effective spay-and-neuter programs as areas like West Michigan, so places like Kentucky have an abundance of puppies. Lucky for us they send them our way to find their forever homes.
The puppies are available for adoption starting Tuesday, November 11. The cost is $300, which includes spay or neuter costs as well as a puppy training class, valued at $100.
